BAGUIO CITY — The government on Thursday expanded its Unified 911 emergency response system with the activation of four new regional command centers aimed at improving response times and making emergency services more accessible across the country.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) launched new satellite command centers in Batac City, Ilocos Norte; Cauayan City, Isabela; Tacloban City, Leyte; and Leganes, Iloilo as part of efforts to build a nationwide emergency communications network.
