ILOILO CITY — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) have launched four Unified 911 Satellite Command Centers in Iloilo, marking a major step in the government's effort to modernize emergency response services nationwide.

Headquartered at the Leganes Fire Station, the new facilities form part of the Modernized and Integrated Philippine Emergency Report Handling and Response System, which provides the public with a centralized, toll-free, 24/7 emergency hotline connecting callers to police, fire, medical, and rescue services through a single three-digit number.
