Pormal nang inilunsad ng DILG ang Unified 911 emergency hotline, katuwang ang PLDT. Iisang numero na ang tatawagan para sa lahat ng emergency response sa bansa, kabilang ang PNP, BFP, BJMP at mga LGU. Ayon sa DILG, 24/7 ang serbisyo, 5 minuto lang ang target na response time.

Tiniyak ni Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla na totoong operatiba ng pulis, bumbero o BJMP ang makakausap ng mga tatawag sa Unified 911 na magmumula sa National Capital Region (NCR).
Dahil dito ay agad makakapagbigay ng tamang guidance sa mga emergency scenario ang mismong mga sasagot ng sumbong sa 911.
