Shop Talk with NGA 911 SVP of Strategic Relationships, Darold Whitmer In this “unscripted” session, Darold will give an industry update on wireless 9-1-1 call location and supplemental location data call routing. This discussion will also include an overview of the California Location Validation Trial.

Tech Talk with our CTO Ed Vea – NG 9-1-1 Bonded Trunks Learn about the latest in Bonded Trunks – the key to a robust network. In this session learn about how Bonded NG Trunks seamlessly aggregate diverse IP based interconnections (WANs) into a single integrated connection to handle Next Generation Communications at each PSAP and at additional points based on mutually agreed on connections to the ESInet data centers.

Tech Talk with Industry Compliance Specialist Steve O’Conor – The Challenges of Transitioning to Next Generation Core Services & i3 Routing In this presentation, we will take a look at the challenges facing public entities as you consider moving from legacy technology into the next generation of multimedia communications. You’ll also be given a list of critical questions to ask of Next Gen vendors to ensure you get the facts necessary to make an informed decision and to identify the optimum solution in the form and function that works for you.

Shop Talk with NGA 911 VP of Industry Relations, Bill Munn We will look at the types of failure in 9-1-1, namely interruptions to the network, power failure, equipment failure, CPE failure or human, and the phases of protecting 9-1-1. The biggest part of the presentation will be on the plan for emergency preparedness, with an emphasis on the need for an ever-evolving process rather than just the document.
