NGA Congratulates Eric Caddy on his Appointment to NG9-1-1 Interoperability Oversight Commission (NIOC)

Monrovia, CA, April 11, 2024 – Next Generation Advanced (NGA) extends heartfelt congratulations to Eric Caddy on his recent appointment to represent Commercial Providers of NG911 Core Services on the NG9-1-1 Interoperability Oversight Commission (NIOC). Eric's appointment further strengthens NGA's commitment to advancing interoperability and security in NG9-1-1 systems across North America and beyond.

 

As the independent oversight governance body for NG9-1-1 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Forest Guide, and other technical interoperability services, NIOC plays a crucial role in setting rules and policies for operating these vital services. Prior to his tenure at NGA, Eric has led multiple public safety projects supporting agencies at State, Regional and Local levels of 9-1-1. Certified as a Project Management Professional and holding a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, Eric's expertise and commitment to innovation perfectly aligns with NIOC's mission to enhance public safety solutions and empower communities.
