Starting September 11, Pinoys who have an emergency can dial the unified hotline 911 to call for help. The hotline service is free and available 24/7, with a target response time of five minutes. It is also designed to be language-sensitive, so callers can speak in Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Waray, Tausug, and other Philippine languages and dialects and still be understood and receive help.

MANILA — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday launched the Unified 911, a single hotline that consolidates all local emergency numbers in the country. Under the system, all emergency calls — whether for police, fire, medical, or disaster response — will be routed through one integrated network connecting the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and local governments.

PASIG CITY (PIA)—Filipinos in emergency situations will only need to dial 911 with the roll out of the unified hotline system starting September 11 by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). As planned, the unified 911 emergency hotline will replace over 30 local emergency numbers nationwide, in response to the directive of President Marcos to strengthen family and community safety under the Bagong Pilipinas campaign.
